Galapagos Islands

Located about 600 miles from the west coast of Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean around the Equator line are the Galapagos Islands. It is made up of six larger and many smaller islands. (Galapagos Information)

Cotopaxi is an active volcano that is the center of a National Park in Ecuador. The indigenous people had worshiped this volcano as if it were a god. It is located in the Andes. (Galapagos Online)

Location of Ecuador

Ecuador is located by the Pacific Ocean in the northwest part of South America. It is about the size of Nevada. (Infoplease)
